Given startup studio Kwalee was set up by Codemasters co-founder David Darling, it's little wonder almost all of the outfit's appointments have previous experience with the publisher.
Andrew Graham, who was responsible for the design and coding on the original Micro Machines, is the latest Codemaster man to find his way onto studio's books, with the studio naming him as Kwalee's official Gameplay Guru.

"Kwalee is looking for special people and in Andrew we have an original thinker and someone who has a deep understanding of fundamental game mechanics, and how to use that knowledge to create amazing entertainment," said Darling of Graham's appointment.
Graham has bolstered his programming knowledge over the course of the last six years, forming what Kwalee describes as an 'extensive understanding of artificial intelligence' that the studio will look to put to good use in its titles.
"Mobile gaming just now offers incredible and unique opportunities to innovate and the talented team I have joined at Kwalee are working on a whole pile of exciting ideas," added Graham.
"It is a great company to be part of and a great time to join them."
Graham's appointment comes after Kwalee named Bruce Everiss as CMO, David's father Jim Darling as chairman and Mark Oxenham as lead programmer.
