Looking to make $150 million in 2012

Revenues at Russian mobile social outfit Game Insight hit $50 million in 2011
Branching out from its base on social networks to make a mark on iOS and Android, Moscow-based publisher Game Insight claims company revenues hit $50 million in 2011.

That's according to stats revealed by CEO Alisa Chumachenk, who used 2012's Sociality Rocks! conference in the Russian capital to lift the lid on the outfit's second full year in operation.

Global goal

The news comes after Game Insight went public with its plans to open up a new arm in the US.

The firm's San Francisco HQ will look to expand the outfit's hand in the North American market, securing new content from social studios in the region.

Game Insight's US base will also likely have a large role to play is the publisher is to reach its 2012 targets: Chumachenk claimed the firm is looking to triple its revenues in 2012, hitting sales of $150 million across the course of the year.

The publisher, which made #35 on PocketGamer.biz's list of the top 50 developers in 2011, currently boasts 14 internal game development studios behind a six-strong library of mobile releases, including Crime Story, Mystery Manor and Paradise Island.
