In today's Speaker Spotlight we're talking to Game Insight head of strategy Nik Sherman who will host a session entitled 'Evolution of mobile esports: lessons we learned from the first esports season in Guns of Boom and our vision for the future'.

What does your role entail?

My role has an esports focus.

Why did you want to work in the games industry?

I'm obsessed with good games and want to bring that joy to masses.

What advice would you give to anyone looking to get into it?

Invest your time into something you really enjoy yourself.

What are your thoughts on the industry in the last 12 months?

Esports rocks!

What major trends do you predict in the next 12 months?

More good games to come.

How has the games industry changed since you first started?

Mobile is the king of the jungle now.

Which part of the Connects event are you most looking forward to and why?

I'm really looking forward to open discussions, just because I like to exchange opinions with others.
