Spring in San Francisco: Registration now open for GDC 2014

With GDC Next having only recently drawn to a close in Los Angeles, all eyes have now turned to the main event, with attendee registration for GDC 2014 now open.

The conference, which is the worlds largest and longest running professionals-only game industry event, will take place from 17-21 March 2014 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco.

Discounted early bird prices being offered until 31 January.

Start with a summit

The week long event will kick off with the GDC Summits: a two day menagerie of panels, post-mortems, and more.

The summits this year include an AI summit, an independent games summit, and a summit dedicated to smartphone and tablet games.

GDC sessions are divided into seven tracks, with each track focusing on educating attendees about one specific area of development.

GDC 2014's tracks will be looking at design, production, advocacy, audio, programming, visual arts, and business.

If you're interested in registering for the conference you can find out all of the necessary information, and sign up, by visiting the official GDC website.
