Finnish mobile startup Kopla Games has announced it's closed a seed investment round of $750,000.
Flaregames' CEO Klaas Kersting, who has previously invested in the early stage rounds of mobile companies such as Supercell, Spacetime Studios and iQU, funded the round.
He recently also invested in Argentinian developer ZupCat.
"Kopla are a highly experienced group with a unique mindset when it comes to developing mobile games," Kersting said.
"They have very impressive plans to expand their team in a scalable way and have an awesome first product that is already showing itself to be a potential hit."
Next step
Founded by CEO Mika Kuusisto, product lead Janne Jaakkola, art lead Ilkka Siik and tech lead Vilppu Tuominen, who previously worked on Angry Birds, Kopla is based on Finland's second city Tampere.
It's working on one-thumb RPG Project Nonstop, which will be published by Flaregames later in 2016.
It previously closed a $110,000 pre-seed funding round in 2015, which was led by Finnish investment company Sisu Game Ventures.
