Today only: Double discount for Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki 2018

We've blundered into a bureaucratic scenario worthy of Britain’s Boris Johnson and our Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki 2018 20 per cent Midsummer offer has activated ahead of the end of our Super Early Bird rate tonight – which means that for the next few hours you can grab a mighty double discount.

It's the lowest price we’ve ever offered for Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki, so now's the time to book your place and save up to $600!

What is Pocket Gamer Connects?

Now into its fifth year, Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki is back on September 11th to 12th.

The two-day exhibition and conference is already inarguably THE largest B2B games event in Finland. Every year since 2014 has been bigger and better than before and 2018 is no exception - we’ve even had to find a new venue to fit everything in!

Focusing on the games industry for mobile, PC, VR, AR, Nintendo Switch and blockchain (see below) the event will draw over 1,200 delegates from more than 600 companies to enjoy over 120 speakers across 14 tracks over two packed days.

We’ll also have a packed expo, a game jam, Big Indie Pitch events for PC and mobile, the $150,000 finale of our blockchain developer contest, workshops, match-making sessions, unlimited & free meeting system and, of course, our infamous PechaKucha sessions and legendary Global Connects party.

All-new agenda for 2018

As usual, the mobile games industry will be the driving force of the event with the biggest speakers exploring the most crucial issues over multiple tracks including user acquisition, monetisation, international publishing opportunities, indie development, esports and key industry trends.

This year we're broadening our focus, though, and dedicating tracks to cover Live Ops, Hyper-casual and Instant Messenger Games, Cloud Gaming, Influencer Marketing, AI and more, while our expanded Developer Toolkit section offers a deeper dive into game development techniques.

Meanwhile, our Connects X track shines the limelight beyond mobile to offer a wealth of content for PC, Nintendo Switch, VR and AR development across various talks that centre explicitly on different platform opportunities.

If you have expertise to share and would like to speak at the event, submissions are still open.

Meet our latest Connects addition

New for 2018 and hot from its debut in San Francisco this spring, Blockchain Gamer Connects is a partner conference of PGC Helsinki – and your ticket grants you access to both events! Yes - even with the Midsummer double discount!

Over both days, four tracks entirely dedicated to blockchain gaming will introduce the core technology and terms, as well as illustrate how companies are raising money and monetising crypto games. Diving deeper, we’ll explore the particular issues of game design showcasing some of the best titles live or in production and explore the potential opportunities for the future.

As well as featuring its own pitches for dev studios looking for investment, Helsinki is also the venue for the grand finale of the Alto Crypto Gaming Challenge powered by BlockchainGamer.biz. The finalists will compete for their share of a prize pool worth $150,000 and will add the finishing touch to our final – and always thrilling – Connects experience of the year.
