Snuggle Truck, Battleheart and Gears lead mobile charge as Unity Awards finalists announced
With Unity Technologies' annual awards bash less than a month away, the finalists for the event – part of the Unite 11 conference – have been unveiled.

And Unity's multiplatform nature hasn't prevented mobile companies from securing a slice of the action, either.

Owlchemy's iPhone hit Snuggle Truck, for instance, finds itself up in two categories – gameplay, and the community choice award.

Likewise, Android and iPhone release Battleheart by Mika Mobile stands a chance of taking home that same community award, and has earned a nomination for the Grand Prix award.

Also in the line-up for honours are Crescent Moon's Gears and Siegecraft, and SilverTree Media's Cordy.

"We continue to be blown away by what people create using Unity," said CCO Nicholas Francis when the awards were announced back in July.

"Now that our registered user base has surpassed 500,000 users with 150,000 of these using it monthly, we can't wait to see this year's nominations and how our users are continuing to raise the bar and set new standards."

Unite 11, which will run from September 28 to 30 in San Francisco, will offer advanced hands-on class tutorials, technical sessions and networking parties.

A full list of nominees can be found on here, where you can also vote for the Community Choice award.
