Mobile content retailer Mobile Streams is preparing to launch what it's calling 'a premier mobile internet games portal' at MobileGaming.com.
The dedicated storefront will offer access to top titles from the world's best mobile games retailers and will launch in US, Argentina, Australia and the UK, although the URL is pointing to Mobile Streams' US-centric ringtone service at time of writing.
Mobile Streams has previously launched a mobile games storefront in Asia, and says the partnerships it built with major games content providers will be extended to these new territories.
CEO Simon Buckingham comments mobile games downloads already account for more than a third of Mobile Streams' revenues.
"Mobile gaming is one of the fastest growing areas in the mobile content market. We look forward to achieving the same widespread success with MobileGaming.com as we have for our mobile internet music superstore, Ringtones.com," he said
As part of the service Mobile Streams will be rolling out its proprietary Games Wrappers technology to enable 'try before you buy'.
It also has a connected mobile social gaming service with community and sharing features.
Devices including Android, BlackBerry and iPhone are supported.
