San Francisco-based incubator and business accelerator YetiZen has announced applications are now open for its March 2012 program.
Entrepreneurs building a game studio, platform, or monetisation and engagements tools are encouraged to apply.
Accepted companies receive hothouse mentoring from over 150 game industry veterans, also gaining the opportunity to pitch their business to the press and over 60 different venture capitalist firms and angel investors when each cycle ends.
"Our first two rounds have been well received by the investor community. All YetiZen alumni have received funding and made outside partnership deals totaling up to $1 million in value," commented Sana Choudary, YetiZen's CEO.

Competition for places is strong, however, with 200 applications submitted for the 10 slots during the previous round.
"We are looking forward to reviewing applications from the game development community over the next few months," added Japheth Dillman, YetiZen CCO.
"We have already seen impressive applications from a number of US and international game studios, some who have upwards of 24 million downloads."
Application deadline for the March round is 1 January, with rolling admission process, so early submission is advised.
