Tapjoy tweaks executive roles for growth; Linda Tong promoted to chief product officer
Ending the year as it means to go on, mobile user acquisition outfit Tapjoy remains firmly in hiring mode.

Pointing out that it's already 130-strong, and that it plans to double during 2012, the company has also highlighted an internal promotion.

Described as "wickedly smart and intensely focused", Tong previously worked on Chrome and Android at Google, and now has the role of ensuring that Tapjoy provides the "innovative tools and features that developers, advertisers and consumers have all come to expect from us".

Checks and balances

Other vocational tweaks see veep of business development Paul Longhenry gain responsibility to oversee Asia Pacific activity, while CFO Al Wood get to handle Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Chris Akhavan, previously veep developer partnerships, is promoted to general manager, partnerships and strategic operations, with Christine Lee becoming general manager, partner relations.
