Kiip partners with PopChips to bring Swarm contest to UK
Mobile reward network Kiip has announced a partnership with US snack company PopChips, which will see it launch its Swarm competitions model in the UK for the first time.

Players clocking time in the iOS version of Get Set Games' free-to-play Mega Jump over the weekend will be able to compete for the chance to win real prizes.

Top of the pops

The Swarm competition - basically time-dependent leaderboards - will take place between 31 March and 1 April with first prize including two tickets to see Madonna perform at Hyde Park, London on 17 July, a £100 gift card, and a year's supply of popchips.

Participants ranking in 2nd to 1000th place will receive a coupons for a free bag of PopChips.

Reaping rewards

Kiip is a service that taps into a game's achievements system to offer real-world rewards to players for topping high scores and passing certain challenges.

The network currently delivers more than five rewards per second from over 120 apps reaching a worldwide user base of 30 million.

This week the company announced it would be branching out into fitness apps starting with a partnership with PepsiCo in the US.
