Mobile social outfit PlayPhone has signed a multi-title agreement with Alawar Entertainment to secure a selection of the developers games for its Social Gaming Network.
The first wave of Alawar titles to hit PlayPhone's platform will include a quartet of hidden object games: Alabama Smith: Escape from Pompeii, The Treasures of Mystery Island, Snark Busters: Welcome to the Club, and Twisted Lands: Shadow Towns.
Said titles will launch on the service for Android before the end of May, nudging its total library past the 150 games mark.

"With more than one-million game downloads per day, Alawar Entertainment is a driving force in the global casual games market," explained PlayPhone's SVP and general manager Ander Evju.
"We are thrilled to add their key franchises to the PlayPhone Social Gaming Network.
"Our goal is to offer developers everything they need to self-publish games on the PlayPhone Social Gaming Network - from easy platform integration regardless of OS or development environment, to the ability to add social features to existing content, to control over their monetisation efforts.
For his part, Alawar Entertainments VP of mobile Alexander Dubrovin said PlayPhone's platform represented the perfect fit.
"What attracted us to PlayPhone are the multiple levels of integration they offer and the flexibility we have to self-publish on mobile devices via a social gaming network to extend the audience reach for our franchises."
