Fireproof Games, Flurry and Mediatonic confirmed for TIGA's Mobile and Tablet Games Event 2013
UK trade association TIGA has announced the final line-up for its Mobile and Tablet Games Event, which is due to set up shop in Shoreditch on 31 January 2013.

The event's schedule covers mobile platforms, distribution, analytics, marketing and PR – as well as the business of actually creating a game.

Confirmed speakers for the Mobile and Tablet Games Event include Flurry MD Richard Firminger, Mediatonic co-founder Paul Croft, and Lucky Frame founder Yann Seznec.

Barry Meade and Mark Hamilton of The Room developer Fireproof Games will also be taking to the stage, as will Mutant Labs MD Alex Ryley.

The big smoke

"The market for mobile and tablet games is growing and the opportunities for developers are significant. Yet the market is highly competitive," said TIGA CEO Dr Richard Wilson.

"To succeed studios must not only develop a high quality game but also carefully consider a range of factors including gaming platforms, geographical markets, discoverability, monetisation, marketing and PR.

"The TIGA network enables developers and digital publishers to progress. Our Mobile and Tablet Games Conference features first class speakers from some of the most exciting games companies in the UK," Wilson continued.

The event will take place at Microsoft's creative hive in London, Modern Jago.

Attendance is completely free for TIGA members, and inexpensive for non-members, but the event is currently sold out. Interested parties can add themselves to the official wait list online.
