App Annie has released more stats on the year's most talked about game, Pokemon GO.
The market analyst suggests that the game will have generated $350 million in a few days, and is well on its way to generating $1 billion.
This means it has the potential to exceed figures for the year's top-grossing Hollywood blockbuster film, Captain America: Civil War.

It's also having a positive effect on other businesses, with McDonald's Japan seeing a 27% increase in sales in July 2016, and posting its first profit in two years, thanks to a partnership with Niantic Labs.
Pokemon GO has also yet to be released in major markets like China, South Korea, and India, which will no doubt boost its revenues higher when the game finds its way to those markets.
