Big Bang Racing races past three million downloads in its first month

Tampere-based developer Traplight Games has revealed that its first game Big Bang Racing has achieved three million downloads in just a month.

The game had already amassed one million downloads in its first week of release.

Its players have also created over one million levels using the game's in-built level designing tools.

Gamer to gamer

"User generated content is definitely the future of mobile gaming and we believe that the community should be involved in shaping the gaming experience," said Riku Rakkola, CEO of Traplight.

"We like to consider Big Bang Racing a sort of YouTube of games, where people have a virtual space to create the game world themselves, making it literally from gamers to gamers."
