First touch screen BlackBerry to rival the iPhone?

Verizon finally acknowledges BlackBerry Storm
Rumours regarding a fully touchscreen BlackBerry have been circulating for quite a while - substantiated, for the most part, by leaked videos and pictures. Last night, however, US mobile provider Verizon launched a frugal yet decisive informational website for the delicious-looking Storm handset.

Calling it by its full Sunday name, the BlackBerry Storm 9530 Smartphone, technophiles can now sign up for further info on the phone that's being touted (as so many are these days) as being a genuine rival for the iPhone.

With a little imagination, the slogan "What will it feel like?" gives an elbow to the ribs of the rumour which suggests the handset will feature haptic feedback; giving you a small buzz to simulate tactile responses to button presses.

Other rumours are running rampant on release dates - varying between 22nd September, 1st October and 1st November - though nothing has yet been officially confirmed. You can bet that when it is, you'll hear about it right here at Pocket Gamer.Biz

In the meantime, here's what it look like:
