Thumbstar signs up to TIGA trade association
Fast expanding UK mobile publisher Thumbstar has signed up with UK trade association TIGA.

Revitalised by a significant investment from Martin and Gareth Edmondson, the Liverpool-based outfit now distributes more than 3,500 games from 150 developers into over 130 markets globally.

"The support that TIGA provides to the development and digital publishing community is absolutely vital," said CEO Gareth Edmondson.

"The decision to join was an easy one. The range of membership benefits such as discounts, access to events and the contacts we can make in the TIGA community are all solid reasons."

Growing base

"The growing mobile games market provides great opportunities for developers," added TIGA CEO Richard Wilson.

"Already over 130 UK games businesses are making mobile games. Thumbstar is in a good position to help many developers achieve their potential. We welcome Thumbstar to TIGA."
