SGN looks to cross-platform future, appointing Josh Yguado as president
Cross-platform social publisher SGN has named Josh Yguado as its new president.

An internal appointment, Yguado was one of SGN's co-founders and previously was in charge of game development.

He now also gains responsibility for the oversight of SGN studios and marketing.

Forge ahead

Covering Facebook, iOS, Android and Amazon, SGN is a female-focused publisher.

It has internal studios and also works with external developers, releasing titles including Panda Jam, Bingo Blingo, and the Rescue series of games.

"Since founding SGN, our mission was to establish innovative technologies to produce fun games. Our talented teams in Argentina, San Francisco, and Los Angeles have already produced a long list of successful games playable on mobile phones, tablets, and PCs," Yguado commented.

"Josh's new position cements SGN's commitment to building the most seamless cross-platform gaming experience in the industry," added SGN's CEO Chris DeWolfe.

During 2013, it's expected the publisher will expand with some of its planned dozen titles released within the casino hybrid genre.
