Triple-A acceleration: Fishlabs boosts team to fuel mobile 'evolution'
"In less than a decade, mobile gaming has undergone an evolution that took the consoles a total of three generations," claims Fishlabs CEO Michael Schade, and to stay in touch, studios need to hire.

That's why the company has taken on two new members of staff a matter of months after it welcomed four other additions to the team, with Fishlabs appointing a executive producer and game developer to strengthen it's 'triple-A' focus.

Joining Fishlabs as the aforementioned executive producer is Michael Krach, who has previously served as a producer for EA's Phenomic studio in Germany, and DICE in Sweden.

Also new to Fishlabs is game developer Stefan Heiler, who has previously worked on a number of projects as a freelance software developer for Flashpoint AG.

Two for the top

Both, claims Schade, are a sign Fishlabs isn't content to 'rest on its laurels', and is instead racking its brains to "find ways to fully max out the smartphones and tablets of tomorrow."

"In order to realise this goal and offer our fans nothing but one-of-a-kind gaming experiences, we have to combine our eight years of experience on the mobile market with the skills and know-how of the top-players of the international video games industry," added Schade.

"Michael is the ideal man to oversee such ambitious and time-consuming projects, because he does not only have many years of work experience at some of the most successful studios in the industry, but also a profound knowledge in the field of in-game monetisation in hardcore games with high production values.

"And, of course, Stefan's in-depth knowledge in the area of cross-platform development is highly valuable for us as well. Especially for our upcoming multiplayer title, the Android platform with its enormous install base is an extremely important market, which we cannot afford to neglect."
