XX+ Games Jam to host jam for women in UK and Canada on October 14th

Brighton-based collaborative research project ReFIG UK has announced its XX+ Games Jam to be held on October 14th.

The jam is designed for women, trans people, and non-binary folk who are interested in making games, whether they have experience in the area or not, to come together and make something in just 24 hours.

It will be held in 5 locations in the UK - Brighton, Bristol, Leamington Spa, London, and Norwich, as well as at locations in Montreal and Toronto.

Come together

Any type of game can be made, whether digital or physical. Programmers, artists, sound designers, writers, and people from any other creative discipline are encouraged to join in.

The jam will run from 6pm GMT on October 14th until 6pm GMT October 15th, and there are 24 spaces available at each location.

Anyone interested in taking part, or who wants to help out as a mentor or tech support on the day, can fill in an application form over on the XX+ Games Jam website.
