Playdemic has taken the top award at TIGA's Games Industry Awards with casual golfing game Golf Clash picking up the Game of the Year award.
The awards ceremony was held at the V&A Museum in London on November 2nd. 32 awards were handed out on the night, covering almost every aspect of the games industry.
While Playdemic scooped the top prize, other mobile games also received nods. Space Ape's Fastlane: Road to Revenge picked up the award for Best Audio Design, while multi-platform game Her Majesty's SPIFFING won the Creative and Heritage Award.
Highlighting excellence
"Congratulations to all of last night’s winners. At the largest TIGA Awards Ceremony so far we highlighted excellence in games and business, education and technology, diversity and creativity," said TIGA CEO Richard Wilson.
"I would like to offer huge congratulations to all of our winners and finalists, whose innovation, creativity and excellence is driving the games industry forward."
A full list of winners can be found on TIGA's website.
TIGA partnered with ITN Productions in September to produce a current affairs-style games industry programme called The Next Level. It was launched alongside the awards ceremony.
