About
Description
Kwalee was founded in 2011 by David Darling CBE, a key architect of the UK games industry who previously co-founded and led Codemasters for many years.
Based in Leamington Spa, the UK’s biggest game development hub outside Greater London, our team includes legends such as Andrew Graham (creator of Micro Machines) and Jason Falcus (programmer of classics including NBA Jam) alongside a growing and diverse team of mobile gaming experts.
And in case you’re wondering, the Kwalee name comes from an Australian Aboriginal word meaning ‘wait for me’, a homage to David’s grandfather who taught him electronics and had a sailboat with the same name.
