AppsFlyer's $100m annual recurring revenue, PGC London reveals first speakers, and Com2uS on following up a $1bn hit

Following up on a billion-dollar hit mobile game with another similar success is a tough task - in fact, only Supercell has managed to do it.

Summoners War developer Com2uS is the latest company looking for a follow-up from its still-growing flagship IP. To that end, it’s bagged the Skylanders licence from Activision for Ring of Heroes.

We spoke to Gamevil Com2uS GM David Mohr about its plans for the game, in our most-read story of the week.

Second up is the rather self-promotional news that we’ve unveiled the first wave of speakers for Pocket Gamer Connects London, taking place on January 21st to 22nd.

Money, money, money (it’s so funny)

Elsewhere on our Hot Five, AppsFlyer has reported annual recurring revenue of more than $100m for Q3 2018. Not bad, not bad.

And finally, Supercell’s Clash Royale took $46 million in revenue in September (again, not bad), and Roblox has made close to $500 million on mobile alone (really, not bad at all).
