Jam City signs up ex-EA creative director Chris Tremmel

US mobile games publisher Jam City has signed up ex-EA creative director Chris Tremmel.

Taking up the same title at the Cookie Jam outfit, he will provide design direction for Genies & Gems and Wild Things: Animal Adventure. He'll be based out of the company's LA headquarters.

Tremmel has over 20 years of industry experience and has enjoyed stints at EA working with the Lord of the Rings IP and Spyro the Dragon dev Insomniac, where he served as senior games designer on Sunset Overdrive

He also has previous experience working with the Kung Fu Panda and Transformers IP for Treyarch, for which he served as creative director.

Wild thing

Jam City initially unveiled its brand new story-driven match-three title Wild Things: Animal Adventure back in April of this year. The title is described by the company as a new ‘mobile entertainment franchise’.

Wild Things: Animal Adventure is set to come to Android and iOS in the not-too-distant future, with pre-registration already underway.
