Top Eleven developer Nordeus poaches CCP's Nikola Cavic as its new head of biz dev
Serbian social and mobile developer Nordeus is on a recruitment drive.

The company, which is behind the 1.2 million DAU Top Eleven soccer series has just hired Nikola Cavic as its new head of business development.

He joins from CCP, where he was a senior sales manager leading digital distribution for EVE Online.

Other recent appointments include Spanish and Italian customer support specialists, plus a designer and an engineer.

Young team

Nordeus is also looking to bring new talent into the industry.

Following its tower defence-themed student Hackathon at the end of 2011, it hired all members of the winning team. A further 20 contestants will be offered roles following their graduation.

"Nikola brings with him extensive industry experience that we will be using to progress business development, monetisation and building partnerships. He will focus on strengthening existing team and leading or efforts in international expansion," said Branko Milutinovic, Nordeus' CEO.

"We're very serious about signing the best new talent, just as any Premier League manager would."
