AppMobi has launched version 1.0 of HTML5 mobile app framework jqMobi an open source, mobile optimised rewrite of the jQuery framework.
The 1.0 release of is designed to simplify the development of HTML5-based mobile apps, with the platform capable of delivering equivalent user experiences across both iOS and Android platforms.
But don't take their word for it
In all, appMobi claims jqMobi has been downloaded more than 10,000 times since its initial open source roll out on 16 January 16, with 'multiple improvements' served up by the developer community.
"JqMobi could not have been released at a better time," said early adopter Michael Bryne of Fueled Media.
"As my first foray into mobile application development, jqMobi allowed me to get my app up and running in record time, with a full feature set and rock-solid one-of-a-kind support from the development team."
