Thumbstar picks up Android licenses for Mini Motor Racing, Smash Cops and Sprinkle
Thumbstar's assault on the mobile publishing scene continues, with the UK firm announcing it has signed three new games for distribution across 130 channels worldwide.

As a result, Thumbstar – which is headed up by brothers Martin and Gareth Edmondson, formally of Relection Studios of Driver fame – had added Android versions of Mini Motor Racing, Smash Cops and Sprinkle to its library.

Both The Binary Mill's Mini Motor Racing and Sprinkle by Mediocre have already enjoyed success across iOS and Android, but Smash Cops – which made its name on Apple's platform – will be new to Google's OS.

The news comes a matter of months after Thumbstar claimed it had more than 20 mobile games ready to go across platforms, with a "huge set of announcements" inbound.

The company also recently unveiled a distribution deal with China Telecom and Viva Red Limited that will see Thumbstar games localised and distributed through Viva Red's 189gameshop platform.
