Industrial Toys spins off sister company Gunslinger Studios to develop RPG Exiles of Embermark

Tim Harris, former CEO of Los Angeles-based developer Industrial Toys, has announced that he has started a new company, Gunslinger Studios, in order to launch new game, Exiles of Embermark.

It's a fast-paced RPG designed to be played with one hand, which aims to bring "synchronous multiplayer in under 60 seconds".

Quick shootin'

Players will engage in PvP combat, as well as single-player and co-operative modes, collecting and levelling up heroes in battle, and gathering loot.

There is also the promise of a "player-influenced story" that will be dictated by the victories and defeats of the players within their various Houses.

While Harris is shifting his focus to the new company - which is a sister company to Industrial Toys -  he has said that he will remain involved with Industrial Toys, which is currently working on a follow-up to its 2014 release Midnight Star.
