Phil Fish's indie hit FEZ has made its way to iOS over five years after it first launched on PC and consoles.
While Fish's studio Polytron was the original developer, it tweeted that the port had been handled by Barcelona-based porting studio BlitWorks. Other notable BlitWorks mobile ports include Failbetter's Sunless Sea, and Double Fine's Broken Age.
The original FEZ was critically-acclaimed because of its mix of 2D and 3D graphics and movement. It is a Metroidvania-style platformer that allows players to shift perspectives to solve puzzles.
Hats off
FEZ Pocket Edition appears to keep the original game intact, but with touchscreen controls added. It is currently only available on iOS for $4.99.
Polytron has been fairly quiet after FEZ, aside from Phil Fish's public announcement that he was leaving the games industry. The studio has released another game since, a VR puzzle title called SuperHyperCube.
