Social gaming companies are all about posting press releases with big numbers in them and German outfit Gofresh is no different.
Via its mobile platform Gofresh Games, which is integrated within the itsmy.com community, it now boast that two million global users have played its 20 mobile multiplayer browser-based games.
The games are free-to-play and theres no advertising either.
Instead, the business model is virtual item based with Gofresh claiming up to 15 percent of players in Europe and the US have purchased premium game items.
Other metrics are that users play 2.6 sessions for a total of 35 minutes daily.
2010 will be the year of mobile social gaming, says Antonio Vince Staybl, Gofreshs CEO.
With growing feature- and smartphone usage and cheaper data flatrates, the number of people who play social games on their mobile phones will continue to grow very fast and better carrier payment solutions will make it easier to monetise mobile games.
You can register to play Gofresh's games by pointing your mobile browser at m.itsmy.com.
