Zynga has hired former Associate General Counsel for Tesla Phuong Phillips as its new Chief Legal Officer.
She will oversee legal affairs and government relations across the entire company. Her role will see her answering directly to Zynga CEO Frank Gibeau.
Phillips joins from Tesla, where she served as Associate General Counsel following the acquisition of her previous company SolarCity. She spent over six years at the energy firm, acting as Vice President, Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Head of Corporate and Securities.

Zynga is currently planning a huge expansion in India as it pushes further into the region. The company also landed in 36th place on our top 50 mobile game developers of 2017.
