Entertainment mogul Fox’s games division FoxNext has teamed up with indie studio East Side Games to bring TV comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia to mobile as a game.

Titled It’s Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile, gameplay focuses on similar over-the-top storylines that the show has become famous for.

New scenarios and storylines have also been crafted for the game, which has a 2018 release currently penciled in on both the App Store and Google Play.

“At FoxNext Games, we take pride in selecting the best studio partners to bring our games to life,” said FoxNext president of licensing and publishing Rick Phillips.

“East Side Games' reputation of creating deep, dynamic mobile worlds made them the perfect match to transform It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia into a one-of-a-kind gaming experience that extends the show narrative."
