Nintendo the most talked about games company on Twitter during E3 2018

Nintendo was the most tweeted about games company from this year’s E3.

Twitter put together a host of lists detailing the most tweeted about games, moments and companies from the big games show.

In total this year’s E3 was said to have pulled in 15 million tweets during the event.

Nintendo dominated proceedings and was top of the “most tweeted about topics,” followed by Xbox and Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

In terms of newly announced games, Super Smash Bros Ultimate won out and was trailed by Kingdom Hearts 3 and Fallout 76.

Moments that generated the most conversation on Twitter followed a similar beat as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s release date won out followed by Metroid Prime villain Ridley being added to the game’s cast.

The Elder Scrolls VI reveal trailer at Bethesda’s conference came third.

Finally, the countries that tweeted the most about the event were the US, Japan and the UK.
